Nicole Chaszar finished her 21st season as the Western New England University women’s coach with an overall coaching record of 340-211, Chaszar is the winningest coach in the program’s 44-year history.
The program has thrived with Chaszar at the helm: a school-record 19 consecutive postseason berths, including every Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC)/Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament since 2008, two CNE conference championships, four NCAA berths, and increased community service involvement, and a trend of 19 winning seasons in her 21 full years at Western New England.
Chaszar, a native of Brackney, Pennsylvania, Chaszar was a four-time Atlantic-10 Conference All-Academic selection, a two-year captain, and team MVP her senior season. Chaszar earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and health teaching in 2000 and a Master of education at Springfield College in 2003.
